It’s Nice to Have a Friend - Jschlatt

Part 5

Reader has been lonely their whole life. They have never been in a relationship. They don’t understand why no one will love them but their best friend, Schlatt has always been in love with them.

Schlatt sends you a text telling you that Aztro and Mika have invited you to join them all for a night at a karaoke bar. They were performing in New York, but coming a day early to hang out. You were excited to not only meet the Sleep Deprived crew, but also go out. It had been a while since you went to a bar and got drunk. Maybe you would meet someone. Maybe your soulmate would be there watching you sing.

All of these thoughts are the reason you spent hours getting ready. Your apartment looked like a mess from the amount of times you changed your outfit. You also spent what felt like hours perfecting your makeup and hair. You finally decide on a tried and true going out outfit of yours. One that makes you feel good in your own skin. You take a look in your full length mirror, actually liking what you see.

You hear your doorbell ring and make your way over to it. You open the door to see Schlatt. He has dressed up himself wearing a tan corduroy jacket over his signature black shirt along with a pair of nice blue jeans. “You clean up nice,” you tell him.

Schlatt looks up at you and he just stares for a minute. “You don’t look too bad yourself. Are you ready to go? I ordered an Uber,” he finally lets out.

You follow him out into the cold New York air, waiting for the Uber to arrive. “Have you got your songs planned for tonight?” You ask him.

“I’m not singing,” he says.

You look at him in disbelief. “We are going to a karaoke bar. You are singing. I know you can sing, so don’t be worried about that.”

He gives you a soft smile. “I’ll think about it, but I’m going to need a lot of liquor before I do any karaoke.”

“Deal,” you tell him as the Uber pulls up. You both hop in the back seat.

Thankfully, the ride isn’t too long. The Uber pulls in front of the bar and you both step out. As you walk in, Astrid and Mika walk over to you. “You must be (Y/N), I’m Astrid and this is Mika. We have heard so much about you,” Astrid introduces.

“Nice to meet you both. You are all a lot taller than I was expecting,” you tell them, feeling a bit tiny. Schlatt was still the tallest out of all of them.

“We were going to take some shots. Do you want to join us?” Mika asks.

You nod, making your way to the bar. Schlatt follows closely behind you. “What’s your shot of choice?” Astrid asks you.

“The strongest tequila they have,” you tell them. “Schlatt will want whiskey.”

Schlatt nods. “Also I’m not telling you what to do, but please be careful with tequila. Last time you had tequila you were dancing on tables.”

“Shut up. I was only 21. My brain has fully developed now.”

“I’ll take tequila shots with you (Y/N),” Astrid says.

After about two shots, you are starting to feel tipsy. “I’m going to pick a song,” you tell Schlatt. He throws back his third shot of whiskey.

“What song are you going to sing?” He asks you.

“It’s a surprise,” you whisper to him. The reality is you weren’t sure what song you wanted to sing. You were just going to look at the list and see what song pops out at you.

You walk over to the book to look at the list of songs they have. You choose to look at the Taylor Swift list of songs first. You’re surprised by the selection they have, including some from The Tortured Poets Department. You ultimately find the right song. You sign your name to go next along with your song choice.

They call your name to go up and you hear Schlatt, Mika, and Astrid all cheering for you. You wait for the words to start before singing,

Summer went away, still, the yearning stays. I play it cool with the best of them. I wait patiently, he's gonna notice me. It's okay, we're the best of friends. Anyway.

I hear it in your voice, you're smoking with your boys. I touch my phone as if it's your face. I didn't choose this town, I dream of getting out. There's just one who could make me stay. All my days.

From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes. I waited ages to see you there. I search the party of better bodies. Just to learn that you never cared.

You're on your own, kid. You always have been.

Schlatt’s eyes don’t leave yours as you sing. He continues to focus on you as he takes more shots.

I see the great escape, so long, Daisy May. I picked the petals, he loves me not. Something different bloomed, writing in my room. I play my songs in the parking lot. I'll run away.

From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes. I called a taxi to take me there. I search the party of better bodies. Just to learn that my dreams aren't rare.

You're on your own, kid. You always have been.

From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes. I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this. I hosted parties and starved my body. Like I'd be saved by a perfect kiss. The jokes weren't funny, I took the money. My friends from home don't know what to say. I looked around in a blood-soaked gown. And I saw something they can't take away.

'Cause there were pages turned with the bridges burned. Everything you lose is a step you take. So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it. You've got no reason to be afraid.

As the song ends, you bow and walk back over to the table. “That was really good. You went basic with Taylor, but it was good,” Astrid tells you.

“Thank you,” you say, taking a shot of tequila to calm your nerves.

“You did amazing, Toots. You’re so talented, but why that song?” Schlatt asks you.

“It’s a song I relate to a lot. You know being on your own and all. I saw it on the list and knew I should sing it.”

He nods. He gives you a hug and you tense up a bit. He must be really drunk to have hugged you. He pulls away from you. “You know I’ll never let you be fully alone right?”

You give him a sad smile. “I know. Thank you,” you sigh. “Anyway, no more sappy shit. Are you drunk enough to go sing?”

“Might need some more.”

“You stay here, I’ll go to the bar and get us some,” you tell him, getting up from the table. Mika and Astrid are at the karaoke book finding a song.

You make your way to the bar. “Can I get two shots of Fireball and a tequila sunrise?” You ask the bartender, handing them your card.

“You can put that on my tab,” you hear a voice say beside you. You turn to see a blonde man beside you. “It’s under Fletcher.”

“You don’t have to do that. I can pay for it myself.”

“Don’t worry about it. Add a corona to that as well,” Fletcher says, turning to face you. “I’m Max Fletcher. You sounded amazing up there. I’m a bit of a swiftie myself.”

“I’m (Y/N). Thank you for the compliment and the drinks.

The bartender hands you the shots and your drink. “No judgement at all, but are all those drinks for you,” Max asks, accepting his corona.

You let out a small laugh. “No, the shots are for my friend.” You look over to the table expecting to see Schlatt, but he’s not there. You look over at the stage and see him making his way up as his name is called. “Actually he’s going up to sing.”

“Oh that’s cool. So he’s only a friend right, not a boyfriend?”

“Just a friend,” you tell him as you start to hear the beginning of the song, Creep.

“Well if that’s the case, here’s my number,” Max says handing it to you.

“This song is for a friend of mine,” Schlatt says, before the song starts.

“Thanks,” you tell Max before taking the drinks back to your table. Your eyes meet Schlatt’s as he sings.

You wonder what friend he is talking about. Maybe Astrid? Maybe Mika? You weren’t sure.

You feel your heart swell as he sings. It’s just a song right? He doesn’t really feel that way about himself. You still don’t know who he’s singing to until you realize his eyes have not left you the entire song. It’s probably because he’s most comfortable with you. Nothing else.

Schlatt makes his way back to the table and shoots both of the shots. “You were amazing. Your voice is perfect for that song,” you praise him.

He smiles at you. “Thank you. Did you hear the beginning?”

“Yeah I did and if Astrid doesn’t feel the same, that’s her loss,” you tell him.

“Astrid? It wasn’t about her,” Schlatt says, worry covering his face.

“Oh who were you singing about then?”

“It was,” he starts, but stops himself. “Never mind. It was just a song. I thought it would sound good with my voice too.”

You smile at him. “Shocked you didn’t sing Sinatra, but Radiohead works well too.” You take a sip of your drink.

“Who was that guy talking to you earlier?”

“Some guy named Max. He gave me his number. I’m not sure why though,” you admit. You thought maybe it was for Schlatt when he realized you weren’t dating him.

Schlatt gives you a look. “(Y/N), please tell me you’re joking right?”

“What?” You ask, raising your eyebrow.

“He obviously gave it to you because he thought you were cute,” Schlatt says, muttering something under his breath.

“Wait really? Oh I didn’t realize that,” you laugh at yourself.

Schlatt laughs a bit too. “I’m going to grab more shots. I’m not drunk enough. You just sit here and watch the people sing.”

Schlatt returns after a while. You’re not sure where Mika and Astrid had ran off to, but at least your best friend was still here. You and Schlatt are so drunk you know you’ll both feel it in the morning. After a few shots, the two of you are a giggling mess.

“You know my friend (Y/N)?” Schlatt asks, obviously very drunk.

You let out a giggle. “Yeah I know them, they are pretty cool,” you say.

“Yeah they are cool. They are also so intelligent and so funny and so goddamn talented in everything they do.”

“That’s so sweet. I’ll let them know.”

“Can I tell you a secret?” He whispers to you.

“Of course,” you whisper back.

“I’m in love with them.”

“What?” You ask not sure if you heard him right. You obviously misheard him.

“(Y/N), I’m in love with them. And you want to know the most pathetic thing? They will never love me back. No matter what I do, they will never love me the way I love them. Sometimes I imagine us together in a house with the cats just loving each other. Maybe raising kids. We’d get married in a catholic cathedral like they have always wanted. I would do anything to make them happy and they will never feel the same.”

Tears start feeling up your eyes. “Jay,” you let out. You don’t know what to say. You’re at a loss for words. Everything is starting to make sense. The cuddling, the kiss on the forehead, his wariness about Ted, the way he always does whatever you ask, and even his freaking boner. He didn’t sing Creep for no reason, he sang it for you. You take a look at him and you start crying.

“Are you okay?” Schlatt asks, still very drunk. His calloused thumbs wipe a stray tear from your face.

“I’m fine. I think it’s time for us to call an Uber,” you tell him, trying to wipe away your tears.

You walk outside, carrying behind a drunk Schlatt. You see Mika and Astrid sharing a joint. “Are you going home already?” Astrid asks you.

“Yeah. Schlatt almost passed out at the table,” you tell them.

“Have you been crying?” Mika asks, accidentally blowing smoke in your face.

“No, this happens when I drink a lot,” you lie.

They both nod. “Do you need help with him?” Mika asks.

“No, I got him. It was nice to meet you both. Enjoy the rest of your night.” The uber pulls up and Schlatt sleepily follows you.

As soon as you both get in, Schlatt’s head finds your shoulder. It takes everything in you to not cry more. “Are you able to take me home after I drop him off? I’ll pay you extra,” you ask the driver.

“Just put your address in the app and I’ll pick it up. No extra charge,” the driver tells you.

“Thank you.” You hear Schlatt lightly snoring on you. You smile at him. You’re so conflicted in your thoughts. Obviously you love Schlatt, but do you love him the way he apparently loves you? You’re not sure. You’ve never thought about him that way. He’s always been your best friend, just out of reach. He was never someone you would consider.

The Uber arrives in front of Schlatt’s apartment. “C’mon Big Guy,” you wake him up. Schlatt follows you out of the car. “I’ll be right back out. I just need to put him to bed.”

The driver nods at you as you drag Schlatt to his bed. “(Y/N)!” He cheers, when he realizes you are the one carrying him along. “Are you staying?”

“Not tonight. I have work in the morning,” you tell him.

He pouts slightly at you as he gets in his bed. As he pulls his shirt off, he gets under the covers. You tuck him in and place everything on the nightstand that he will need in the morning. “Night, Bub. Get home safe.”

“I will. Good night, Jay,” you tell him. You go downstairs and thankfully the Uber is still there. You thank the driver as he drives you home.

When you finally arrive, you make sure to tip the driver well. You quickly rush upstairs to your apartment. When you get inside, the tears start flowing. You go to your bathroom and wipe off your makeup. Once you get in bed, you think about the future of you and Schlatt. What does his confession mean for your friendship? Do you feel the same way? Why did he have to tell you when he was drunk off his ass? You go to sleep knowing that tomorrow an important conversation needs to happen.

Surprisingly, (actually not) Ferid is always the most fashionable out of all the people in the manga.

Kagami may not focus on the clothing choices of his character, but I'm gonna analyze his outfits anyway because I've observed that some of his clothing choices have a deeper meaning.

Let's start with his 'usual' outfit from the anime.

His choices in clothes are always fancy and classic, yet he adds things to it which makes his outfits look out of the ordinary.

— In conclusion, his clothing style represents him. (Well, to be quite frank, our fashion choices always represent who we are directly or subconsciously. So, it's not like these 'theories' of mine r out of the ordinary.)

People in general have always considered him odd, but his own kind specifically considers him eccentric because of his unusual 'emotional' behavior which makes him have a human-like personality, since vampires cannot feel anything besides the strong desire for blood. He, as a human, would be seen as pretty normal. (this would be before they get to know the real him)

His personality has traits which makes people fall for the fact that he's a genuine kind and simple person, yet, as his clothing style, he makes sure that even those people will get some suspicious of his true nature.

He has a deal going on in Sanguienem with the kids there. Ferid drinks their blood or they serve him and in return they receive their necessary supplies. From this deal, he might make kids fall to his tricks easily, as it is seen specifically with Mika and also, with other children in the light novel. Despite this, his reputation is known even to those kids as being kinda off-putting. The kids hear rumors about those who serve him going missing, so these rumors and his (sometimes) suspicious behavior makes people think that there might also be something fishy going around him.

— His vampire noble uniform is classic, yet has outstanding elements to it like: ribbons, high heeled boots, red earrings and purple long nails.

— The effort that he puts into his daily appearance can be easily seen, which signifies his obsession with putting on a facade around people. He's not a fancy, villainous, charming and aristocratic man as he shows himself to be. From the new chapters, it had been obvious even for other uninterested people that Ferid was actually a broken soul, with no love and care shown for him through his life, which made him the 'frustrated' and monstrous man that he's today. The abused becomes the abuser. Yet, he still clings to his childhood and old wishes because he doesn't want to be completely lost, like the other vampires, like other people which failed to achieve their wishes and died by their own hand. He's a complex, intelligent and simple man if you look at it that way. Yes, complex, yet simplistic.

— Something that I've observed in all of his outfits is that he tries to hide as much skin as he can. It's not because he's insecure, but because he's hiding the real him beneath a fancy surface. Unlike other characters which show their skin more through the manga (even vampires), he is never wearing an outfit which reveals much of his skin.

— His obsession with wearing collars (even through his childhood) signifies his suffocating from all of the others' expectations and even from his own expectations.

— On the other hand, his obsession with ribbons, is another sign of his surface, which makes people think that he's just a fancy, careless guy (like a ribbon from the wrapping of a present iykyk)

This outfit now:

— Once again, he's wearing a classic outfit which looks out of the ordinary only from his vampire cape.

— He's wearing an outfit with a collar again, yet through some manga chapters his hair is finally down. His tight ahh ponytail may be another sign of his constant internal suffocation.

— Honestly a true classic slay if i were a modern vampire i would wear the same thing

The new official art:

— Honestly, this outfit truly gives so many details about him. Even if Kagami's intent wasn't to put on a deep fashion show, his outfit could still signify so, so many things. Atp I think he did it intentionally since Ferid is his favorite character to write so ofc even his outfit in the art would be significant (cus Kagami's ass is obsessed with giving us small clues)

— First of all, this is the first outfit of his which reveals more skin, which therefore means that through the newer manga chapters he has finally completely revealed to the audience his true intents and his nature.

— His skirt is way bigger than his actual size, which therefore reveals that he's no longer putting on a facade, suffocating himself with a fake mask. Yet, his skirt is held in place by his belts, which means that he still wants to keep in control some part of himself. However, his progress through the manga can also be seen through this outfits which get more and more relaxed.

— He's wearing pink sunglasses, which is an obvious sign that he might feel carefree, like a free soul without worries, enjoying a vacation on the beach. On the other hand, it could also be interpreted that he wants to see the world through a pinkish tone now, he has a desire to see the better in life unlike his past self. His glasses have a necklace kind of thing (with those gold things, i forgot its name) which gives an old-fashioned look to the glasses, making me think that his happiness isn't gained by simple foolishness and ignorance, but by wise and hard-working things.

— His ribbon is completely gone WOW and even in his latest new outfit there's no ribbon on it, which signifies the slow vanish of his surface.

— Underneath his clothes, we can see at the waist that he wears a red shirt?? which looks like women's sexy lingerie LMFOAO I don't know what this means tbh. Their current outfits were inspired by their old ones so this mf probably has some red underwear with black lace...💀

— He's wearing flared pants, which remind me of the 70s, a decade which was all about being carefree and childish with the rise of hippies. Either way, his pants which now are not tight are another further implication in his new happier style. His outfit here actually reminds me of the 70s and the hippies.

▶ Shu finds it hard to express his love in words, but his stubbornness is what reveals himself. He hides his true thoughts with harsh words, most of his complaints hide the fact he's worrying over you.

▶ Although Mademoiselle says the truth of his words it always leaves Shu studdering denying it and trying to come up with an excuse.

▶ He really needs mutual trust in order to open up affectionately, shu is a private and reserved person. But when he finally does open up to you he shows his weakness through his affection. His shoulders untense when he hugs you and even his face relaxes when he kisses you.

▶ As much as he complains whenever you give him affection he never pulls away, he'll complain about how too busy but never makes an effort to shoo you away. He'll have a bright blushed face because he very clearly doesn't want you to leave, he actually gets disappointed if you do pull away.

▶ He shows affection the most with his works, he genuinely enjoys your reaction after he gives you new clothing to wear. He loves to look at you in his creations, especially if he made you something that matches him.

▶His ego is extremely boosted whenever you praise or compliment him, it makes him more touchy and vulnerable with you.

▶ Shu has a tight schedule makes it hard to plan stuff with you, he really tries his best to make time for you so you can spend time together on a date.

▶ Shu doesn't ask to cuddle with you, instead he just pulls you into him. A secret of his is that he admires you when you're sleeping, he stares as he moves your hair from your face. He thinks you look regal.

▶ For Valentine's Shu would get you a bouquet or expensive chocolate, he probably already made you a nice outfit the day before too.

▶ He takes you around the streets of Paris and spends time with you at the best sights he knows before taking you to a fancy restaurant for dinner.

▶ Shu wants the day to be completely perfect but just being with you is perfect enough.

Mika Kagehira

▶ Mika always loved being around you even before officially dating, although the thought of ever confessing to you made him extremely nervous. But after he does he's head over heels, your affection can get him completely flustered.

▶ He doesn't have a problem expressing himself to you, he says his thoughts without thinking although he can be anxious and hesitant sometimes. It really depends on what you're talking about, but his feelings for you is something that'll never hesitate to talk about.

▶ Mika shows his love with his worry, if you're upset he's quick to do anything to cheer you up. Most of the time he holds you tight while he says sweet words of comfort.

▶ Mika prefers to keep physical affection private though, pda makes him nervous and you might make him fait because of how flustered he'll get. In private he melts completely with your kisses, the color of his face will always be tinted red.

▶ He can talk about you endlessly to any of his friends, everything you do he thinks is amazing. He's a total fanboy rambling about you and any of your hobbies, or even just how your presence makes him feel.

▶ He really likes to give you gifts, he wants to do anything to keep a smile on your face even if it's a bit pricey. He can't help the fact he wants to spoil you.

▶ He tries to spend as much time as you as he can in between his idol work with valkyrie, he loves doing simple things together even if it's just you watching him sew.

▶ Mika loves to cuddle with you, it doesn't matter if he's a big spoon or not as long as you're physically close to him. It takes him a while to fall sleep with you because it makes him so happy inside he's wide awake.

▶ For Valentine's Mika surprises you with a plush he sewed himself and some chocolates before stumbling on his words when complimenting how you look.

▶ He takes forever to let go of you while rambling about how stunning you look and he'll have the biggest smile all day.

▶ Mika would take you anywhere you want on Valentine's Day. You want to go to a restaurant? He's on it.

▶ Afterwards he'd like to spend the time with you at home cuddling in private and it'll take a lot of effort to get out of his grip.

The inhabitants of Sunshine Terrace/Apartment Block 5598: Personal notes by The dOOrman! You know. The doorman. Of Sunshine Terrace.

Roman Stilinsky: Pleasant. Like no real stuff for him. We rarely ever talk. I mean, like. We talk enough for me to know him I guess? He hates the taste of black tea and he likes jazz. That’s all I really know.

Lois Stilinsky: She’s a bit of a gossip, and is probably the best at makeup in the whole apartment! She’s not a huge fan of having to keep her looks the same all the time. She loves the smell of grapefruit and her favorite perfume smells like it.

Robertsky Peachman: He doesn’t talk much! He’s not stupid like some people think, he’s just like that. He’s a hard worker and I can respect that. He can’t stand loud noises.

Albertsky Peachman: He can be just a bit rude, but it’s ok. It’s not often. He just wants to get home. I just don’t think he likes people all that much. He always shuts the door to the front lobby behind him even if it closes on its own.

Angus Ciprianni: I don’t have mush to say anything but he is so fake. He also throws a lot of parties to literally everyone’s annoyance. Especially me! His shoelaces are fake, he can’t tie them and he hates birds.

Selenne and Elenois Sverchtz: They are the faces of the “sameness is beauty” movement, a new trend encouraging people to stick to particular outfits and looks and not change them. As twins they were deemed the perfect candidates for this. They are a bit uncanny as they do in fact. Just act like the same person just reflected in a mirror. They also have cats. Two. They are twins. They are pleasant to be around, but tend to leave other people out of their inside jokes. One of their jokes is laughing at palimdromes.

Arnold Schmicht: He used to be a horror writer before. Ten years ago. He is not trying horror writer anymore, he tends towards more domestic pieces generally inspired by our neighbours. I’ve read a few of his books, both old and recent. I find his new pieces also have a certain sense of dread built into them, like he wants so desperately to explore those darer topics again. You also wouldn’t clock him as a horror writer! He loves jokes, and is a very bright, talkative man. He’s also just great to hang out with. He loves being asked about his latest project, and he likes eating lemons like oranges.

Gloria Schmict: She isn’t as done with everything as she looks! She’s just usually really tired after a long day of helping people at the bank. She has quite the dry sense of humour, but that doesn’t mean she’s not fun to talk to! She’s one of the most observant of my neighbours, which also makes her slightly paranoid. I definitely get it, though. We have a sort of solidarity I think. She’s afraid of spiders, but she likes snakes. Her favorite colour is yellow.

Izaack Gauss: Despite his general air, he’s actually really easy to talk to. While I’m not close with him at all I get why people like him. He swears by using Gerome’s Hair Gel, it’s the only brand he uses. He also can’t stand the taste of mint unless it’s mixed in with something.

Margarette Bubbles: Her favorite things to sew are dresses, and she actually specialises in bridesmaid’s dresses though she does do general repairs for people. She always has her bag of sewing materials on hand, and has a great eye for colour. She actually can’t really see out of her lazy eye, though she has horrible depth perception because of it. She’s a gossip QUEEN and knows quite a bit. Her house is really comfortable, and she has a lot of hand-sewn dog stuffed animals there since she loves dogs but can’t have them. She has a bias for St. Brenards. She makes the BEST turnovers I have ever eaten and she refuses to tell me her secret to them. Her favorite colours are burnt orange and royal purple, and she loves the smell of pine.

Nacha Mikaelys: She almost always has something sticking out her hair, things just get tangled there! She says she’s been meaning to cut her hair for a while but she’s worried about getting mistaken for a doppleganger so she’s waiting until we have to get new ids. She’s really loud, but in a good way! She wears jewlery usually, she says she has a little bag for her earrings and bracelets for when she’s cooking. She owns a chef hat for home but doesn’t wear one at work. She collects her daughter’s broken slinkies and keeps them in her purse and she has a locket she refuses to tall me what’s in. She loves banana bread and her favorite animals are pigeons. She also has lovespoons hanging up in her apartment!

Anastacha Mikaelys: She doesn’t really like people, she gets overwhelmed easily in social situations so she avoids them. She likes slinkies, and the smell of normal household soap. She actually has a huge slinky collection, but she only lets you see them or play with them if she trusts you. She wants a hamster, and Nacha told me not to tell her but Nacha is saving up to suprise her.

Mia Stone: She doesn’t believe fully in the dopplegangers and can be quite rude when coming through! She almost always “forgets” to tell me when she leaves so I can’t add her to my list. She is curt and to the point when she talks, and tends to overexplain things. Then again she works with small kids so I can let that slide. She knows how to tango.

Dr. W. Afton: He also thinks having a doorman is stupid, but he’s a bit ruder. He doesn’t really say hello to me and tends to turn his whole body to the door when I say he’s cleared to go. I think he doesn’t like the wait. His favorite colour is olive green.

Francis Mosses: He isn’t all that interesting. He doesn’t hate his job, but he doesn’t like it. He jokes about just sleeping in his car a lot, and sometimes he just. Randomly breaks into scared ranting about our situation. He tends to stay alone, and when I went over to his house once it was. Kinda depressing, it didn’t feel like he actually lived there at all. He likes ribbons and collects them off the street, and he says his favorite colour is scarlet.

Steven Rudboys: He’s much less serious than he comes off. He speaks quietly and mumbles a lot, but he gets loud when he’s excited. He has a passion for the history of planes, but not really of flying. He only really became a pilot because he struggles with doing matinence on the planes. He likes puns, and when he realizes he has an in he lights up a bit. He likes cats and birds, and he’s really good at making a duck call.

Mclooy Rudboys: He called me “sweetheart” once and I tried blowing him up with my mind. He makes jokes about his son possibly not being his??? He’s divorced at least three times and told me “he’s lost count” and apparently he fought in World War 2 and retired from being a pilot after that. He likes eagles and only smokes cigars.

Alf Cappuccin: He’s sort of hard of hearing and tends to not like. Understand what I’m saying so I have to use cards so he gets what I’m saying. He’s a few years younger than McClooy. He likes his porridge with brown sugar and raspberries and he likes the smell of brown paper bags.

Rafttellyn Cappuccin: Rafttellyn tends to be quite nervous and timid, she doesn’t really talk much. She has the highest voice by far. She dyes her hair, it’s actually grey but she gets a bit nervous about it. She loves apples and always has them in a wooden bowl on her table. Her perfume smells like old roses.

Makoto Yuuki

Still loves trick or treating at his age and suggests wearing a couple’s costume this year

Even going to lengths of going to a party city and looking at his favorite video game characters costumes

It’s no wonder when the rest of Trickstar decided to join on what was supposed to be your date.

Makoto doesn’t mind but, his mood changes, thankfully at some point they decided to visit a friend’s home around the block, leaving you both alone.

He then invited you to his apartment, watching scary movies while sharing a blanket and snacks sounded like the ideal date

After some moments, you fell asleep on his shoulder as he kissed your forehead and slept with you

Koga Oogami

Since Undead was doing a small Live, a halloween special for the Ensemble Square, he invited you to join them, getting you a vip ticket to later on spend time together.

As the event reached it’s climax, they had a small reunion for the vip’s, as soon as you reached the room, Koga held your hand softly while smiling.

His eyes were on you during the rest of the night, your outfit made his heart beat, he couldn’t help but admire you even more

After a while of mingling with fans and his own bandmates, Koga craved some alone time with you, walking around the illuminated streets wasn’t uncommon for them

Koga placed your arm on his, making sure you felt safe around him

Throughout the night, before it struck 12am, it was always a tradition for him to kiss you in the course of it, in any special holiday, anniversary and even your birthday. Koga wants you to feel special and cared for in every aspect

Chiaki Morisawa

It’s certain that Ryūsetai most likely will make an act for their younger audiences in the same park as they’ve done all their previous shows

Chiaki is surprised when you arrived to help them get ready with makeup kits or helping out with their lines, he’s truly grateful to have someone like you in his life

While doing the mini show, his eyes were on you whenever he could, it gave him comfort. As soon as it ended, Chiaki couldn’t wait to hug you backstage, and he did, spinning you around while kissing you afterwards

He’s definitely exhausted after the entire thing but suggests going to a small party that Starmaker production held

His eyes contained so much tiredness that he began to sleep on your shoulder while standing up

That’s when you both decided to go home, shower and cuddle throughout the night

Shu Itsuki

He’s not into big halloween parties but, he’ll go if you attend and if you wear the matching outfits he prepared for months in advance

Every year he comes up with new themes and always wins the best costume award, it’s not shocking at all

Mademoiselle is usually in Shu’s arms during the night but will hand her at some point to you, admiring how gently you hold her, almost as if she was a fragile porcelain doll

Despite not celebrating halloween a lot, he’ll definitely give the best candy around his neighborhood, the kids are always excited to see Shu’s beautifully decorated house.

He’s intolerant towards kids, however he enjoys seeing the faces of happy, calm children complementing and saying how pretty his costume and home is

Mika regularly visits him in France, specifically when this holiday is around; hanging out with you two (mademoiselle included), gathering candy and having a wonderful time all together

Rinne Amagi

Undoubtedly he throws a halloween party in his dorm, booze included

Kanata and Hiyori invite some of their friends as well as Rinne, who had obviously invited their lovely partner to enjoy some quality time..perhaps even playing beer pong/truth or dare

He buys the costumes no one wants nor likes but always makes them look good somehow

There’s not a single moment where he parted his hands away from your body, holding your hand, waist or even carrying you at some point as a dare, while kissing you that is

Rinne is such a bold person, no matter if it’s a specific holiday or not, he’ll always be like that with you

Even after he’s drunk and everyone went home, he mumbles ‘I love you, Y/n’ so drunkly yet sweet, it’s almost sickening. The only thing he really wanted was to express how much he truly loves you, it’s no doubt what he says is the truth

Souma Kanzaki

Souma loves doing live shows and performing for an audience, no matter if it’s the day where you both had plans on going out, Souma wished the live could’ve been done some other day

He was so upset yet as soon as he saw your face in the crowd, a smile appeared, now happy yet nervous, Souma did his best for you

His eyes were watery, it looked like he had been crying before you entered backstage, sighing in relief as you hugged him, comfort filled his heart, Souma was truly content now

After talking and leaving, Kuro suggested going to Rhythm Link’s halloween party, even if Souma was tired, he agreed after hearing the whereabouts of the party, which was held in the aquarium

When you reached the aquarium, instead of joining everyone at the party you both went towards the turtle exhibition, he seemed so relaxed that Souma didn’t even notice falling asleep on your shoulder

Souma barely remembers how he got home, he smiled as he sees you preparing breakfast for him the next day with his favorite sea themed apron

Natsume Sakasaki

He goes all out on this specific holiday, like dressing as witches together with Tsumugi, Sora and you

Natsume’s goal for halloween is to actually teach you magic; even if it starts by making potions, he’s sure on making it a memorable experience

Tsumugi insists him on taking Sora trick or treating this year since every previous one they would usually give out candy, Natsume sighs, reluctantly agreeing to it and dragging you with him

His eyes are all over you, his hand on your waist as he compliments and flirts with you

Eventually, you both sneak out to kiss and spend time together while Tsumugi continues to trick or treat with Sora

Back at his apartment, Natsume had prepared a small bath for you both to enjoy after the long day; soon sleeping in each other’s arms

Arashi Narukami

Expect a full on halloween glam from this girl, she’s so excited to do your own makeup and wear stylish costumes

Since New Dimension had a small gathering with their idols, Arashi decorated the place so elegantly with some people as support, her face brightened up as she saw you

She won’t shut up about you throughout the party, anytime someone asks about you both, it’s always compliments and praises from Arashi

Arashi later on ends up making non-alcoholic margaritas or handing out drinks to people at the beverage station, casually talking about her day while preparing you a drink

At some point, she takes you to dance under the stars outside, it was such a romantic moment for you both, even kissing you softly, smiling as she held you close

Izumi sighed, looking at you with a faint smile, he was happy Arashi had found someone who complemented her life

Madara Mikejima

Unfortunately, he had to go undercover for a mission that night, after double face disbanded, he ponders if taking you with him would be a good idea, but that quickly disappears when he sees your lock-screen of him in your phone

When he gets home, all bruised up and neutral after a good mission, Madara finds you awake in bed, sighing softly as he apologized for leaving without telling you at such an early hour

Halloween isn’t his favorite holiday, so he likes celebrating it his own way: baking some sweets , watching movies and more

Madara, despite his nature of being friendly and welcoming, wants to only spend time with you, especially after what he had to do during the early hours of the day, he feels safe in your arms and home

He proposed cooking together instead of ordering takeout, wrapping his arms around your waist while you help him out, kissing your shoulder slightly while smiling

Since he’s really tired from the mission, Madara cuddles with you and falls asleep while a movie played in the background, you kissed his forehead before joining him

Nagisa Ran

He’s still getting used to how halloween works, dressing up as your favorite character/movie, getting candy from random neighborhood houses and more

All he could think of was that halloween special in his favorite crystal shop, it’s no surprise when you spend most of your day there with him

Upon entering the shop, Nagisa held your hand the entire time, looking at the many precious gems around the establishment

Even if you both didn’t wear costumes, Nagisa bought matching jade bracelets, walking out the door with a smile, hand in hand once again

Eden had a small gathering during the night and Nagisa dressed up as a mermaid with the rest of his unit. When he spotted you, he couldn’t help but smile, going to hug you after the crowd of fans left

Since Hiyori wanted to go to a Karaoke booth, Nagisa sang his favorite songs while glancing at you first comfort, holding your waist as you joined him for some duo songs

Knights with an Idol S/O (part 2)

Knights (separately): Ritsu x gn reader, Tsukasa x gn reader, Arashi x gn reader Fluff, Little angst, idol stuff Warnings: Established relationship, jealousy, and little teasing (Ritsu) nicknames, capital letters in the written. Word counting: 3170 A/n: some of the words have links, this is to have a better idea of what is written, and capital letters, some wrinting mistakes.

You belong to a new group under ES Square, you were already in a relationship with him when you debuted…

Ritsu Sakuma

At the beginning

When you debuted, he was performing at the same concert as you, so he watched you in his dressing room, when you finished he was already in front of the door, and the first that he do when he saw you, he hugged you, then he would say how great you did it and how much he loves you.

He had “little merch” about you, like photocards, keychains (that he put on his phone once in a while) but his favorite is a little plushie that he had of you! (he sleeps with them)

The advice that he give you was that you don't need to do things that you are uncomfortable with, it's fine to do only things that you like, don't feel egoistic about it.

He would make sure your bandmates know that you had a boyfriend, for example, he would show up randomly at your practice room saying that was an accident (this already happened too many times to be one)

Besides that, he had a pretty good friendship with your bandmates.

How he shows his love (in public, in private, etc.)

One of his love languages is quality time, he loves spending time with you (even though he is sleepy he always knows all the things you said to him!)

When he had free time for his activities he would go to yours! Only because he wants to be with you (you had to call Arashi to make sure that Ritsu really doesn't have activities), but when he can't do that he would message asking how you are.

Both of you had inside dates, Ritsu loves cuddling with you nothing is compared to hugging you while you are telling him about your day or telling him your ideas for songs, both of you also had sleepovers (some members of Knights and Mika would join whenever they can, but mainly is only you and him.)

He kisses you a lot, he said that he can't live without your kisses (he pouts every time that you separated) and also he is a very physical person, he loves to hug you every time he had the chance.

In public, he would intertwine your arms, grab your hands (maybe kiss you when nobody is looking) intertwine your pinkies!

I believe he teases you murmuring sweet things in your ear in public only to see you blushing.

“You look great in that outfit” “You are my sun” “They don't know how much I love you�� and things like that he says teasing you.

If both of you share a stage he would always interact with you, like sharing words of encouragement! ( I believe he would even ask the managers if he can do a special presentation with you).

Ritsu is a very observant person, he would be able to know when you feel bad or uncomfortable in a situation (which he will get you out of) he also knows the things you love and hate, and this makes things easier for him to show his love!

"How are you able to get these tickets?" " I know that you love those series, I do my best to get them" "Thanks my love".

How rumors start

As I said before, Ritsu is a very physical person, your fans and his already know that you had a friendship, and they were chill about it (some of them already shipping you both)

But they didn't know how close you were, until Ritsu show to his fans his phone wallpaper, it was a collage of all the things that he is thankful for, you could see photos of Mao and all Knights, but in the center, there was a picture of both of you, this is where the fans start to get a little suspicious.

Later, in an interview that you had, they challenged you to show the 10 last pictures that you had in your camera roll, the surprise was, that in 5 of the 10 photos was Ritsu sleeping you explain why.

“Some of these pictures of Ritsu-kun were taken by me, other ones were sent by Knights and Ritsu-kun himself, Isn't it cute? It's shocking how he doesn't get up easily with the noise” that was even more suspicious.

How the fans know about your relationship.

Knights were doing a Live, and Ritsu was sleeping in the same room when they started, later Ritsu woke up and said: “(your name) already came, I'm going to kiss them and I come back.” ignoring the fact that his bandmates were on Live.

Knights were in shock after Ritsu left, all the comments on the Live were “OMG Ritsu x (your name) canon” “RITSU REALLY WAKE UP FOR THIS” “Me too Ritsu, if (your name) came, I will run to kiss them.” (you can imagine that Knights change the topic quickly)

“You are finally here, I miss you sooo much” he was already hugging you.

“I miss you too baby, don't you have to be on Live at this time? I believe I heard Izumi-san say that” you ask while hugging him.

“Oh, so that's why they were talking at this hour" he murmurs "I think I messed up, now all our fans know that we are dating" he gets comfortable on your shoulder.

"What?! Did you say something about that?!?" you grabbed him by the shoulders moving him from your shoulder.

"How noisy, please calm down" he caressed your cheek "I said out loud that you had already come and that I was going to kiss you and come back" with his free hand he hugged you by the waist. "I was excited because I want to see you, I'm sorry" in his gaze you could see that he meant those words.

“Don't worry, you were sleepy, besides, some people were already shipping us, I don't think the companies take this the bad way” you caressed his cheek.

“You mean we'll have more jobs together? Awesome!” his smile was the most beautiful thing in the world to you.

“I thought that you didn't like to work” you murmur approaching his lips

“Everything is different when I'm with you” he was finally kissed you.

Tsukasa Suou

At the beginning

He had a little trouble buying the ticket online for your debut concert, he ended up buying more than he needed (he invited Knights and Sora don't worry about the tickets)

He buys all the albums and mini-albums that your group release (if your group has alternative or unique albums he had them.)

The advice that he would give you is that you don´t need to over-work yourself, the trust in your bandmates is essential and asking for help doesn't make you less capable, it's a brave thing to do.

He had a get along well with your bandmates because he also cared about their health, for example, when he orders food for you and you are in practice he also would order for your bandmates.

Other than that, he gets a little jealous when you pay too much attention to your bandmates, please make sure that he knows that you love him more than them.

How he shows his love (in public, in private, etc.)

One of his love languages is to give you things that he knows you need, for example, if you need a notebook to compose he would make sure that he gives that, but he only gifts the best to his beloved.

He would prefer to call you rather than write you a message ( it's because he misses hearing your voice) he always makes sure that you are eating (whenever he can he sends you food) and resting well.

Tea dates with a lot of sweets in your free time! As I said before, he would rather catch up than go to see movies, but if you want to do something else he would accept!

He is very reserved with his private life, he always would kiss you in private (probably you have to take the initiative on that) but in public, he never lets go of your hand ( i believe that he needs to hold something to feel safe)

Tsukasa is an honest person, and because of this, the communication between both of you is great, if you had a problem or you feel misunderstood, please tell him! He will do his best to change that.

Another love language that he had is acts of service, for example, he would give you his jacket or scarf when its cold, open the door for you, carry your things, ordering food for you when you are working (he wants to make sure that you are comfortable and well.)

“It's cold, please have this” “but is your´s ” that its how you share the scarf with him for the first time.

Tsukasa is a shy person when it comes to things related to love, he would blush if you give him compliments, or give thanks for all the things that he does for you.

When both of you are on the stage, he would be blushing so hard, I really believe that in his mind he is like “Cool, nobody knows” BUT THE BLUSH IS SO NOTICEABLE. (Probably knights would joke with him about that).

How rumors start

As I said before, is noticeable when he blushes, one time Knights were in an interview they asked what are their first thought when they heard the word love, when was time for Tsukasa to answer his mind you appear has first thought, he blush, he take so long to answer (he finally said he thinks that his passion for making music for his fans counts has love)(you can guess that the fact that he slows to answer was suspicious.)

Both of you start to be MC’s in a variety show, Tsukasa had to promote his next Tour, fortunately, you know how to do it.

“Tsukasa-kun, I heard that we had the opportunity to see you and Knights soon, is that right?” “Yeah, we are gonna have our next tour in two months!, you can start to know to buy the tickets online” “Please go to see them, I already had the opportunity to see them in the past, Tsukasa-kun you had a lovely voice, heard you in public is an experience that changed my life” “T-thanks (your name), I will do my best in the next performance” he said to you looking at your eyes, he was blushing so hard.

How the fans know about your relationship.

You were filming a song video, and he sent you a food truck for you and your bandmates to eat well during the break. It was decorated so precious, the message “for my beloved (your name), please enjoy this meal and continue doing a great job as you always do! For everyone, this is also for you to keep going your best, fighting!” could be read behind the truck.

The thing here is that in the behind-the-scenes video of the making of the new song the company didn't erase the message, and you said in that video that Tsukasa sent you that truck, “He is such a good person, later I will thank him later”.

Before you knew it, that part of the video was going viral on the internet, Tsukasa didn't take long to appear in your room.

"Sugar, we had a problem” he said while opening your room door.

“I know, I already saw that clip on all the social media”

"How can the company be so careless!, I can't believe that they let that unedited" he let himself fall on the bed sheets.

“Baby you have to calm down, the company will take care of it" you give him a gentle pat on his head.

“I wanted to say it when the both of us were ready,” he said making a pout, which is a cute habit that he does while is angry.

"I know, the good thing is that I can make this in public”

“Make wha-?”you give him a little kiss on his lips, when you move back you saw him flustered.

“Feeling better?” you smile at him

“Can you give me another one? Just to make sure” he was even more flustered than before.

Arashi Narukami

At the beginning

When you debuted she not only was in the first line at the concert, but she also went backstage to tell you that you were amazing.

She would live offered merch, but also she will have cute handmade merch that she buys, and even uses them. (Her fan's gift your merch because they saw Arashi wearing and using some!).

She would give you the advice that you have to be yourself, not fit in the standards that other people have on you, and live the way you want, she always is gonna support you no matter what.

She gets along really well with your bandmates, sometimes she will invite them to spend time with both of you, she doesn't get jealous that easily.

But when she does, you will notice right away, she will be more clingy than normal.

How she shows her love (in public, in private, etc.)

One of her love languages is physical touch, is a common thing for her to intertwine your arms with hers while walking, grab your hand, and comb her fingers through your hair (she loves doing that when both of you are cuddling) She would also fix your hair even your makeup in public (By the way, she LOVES doing your skincare routine on you!)

She would send you messages and would call you in your free time between activities, asking about how your day is going, if you need something, or if you are feeling comfortable.

Spa dates in her room! (Tetora and HiMERU would join once in a while) Also outside dates, like shopping together or drinking tea in the school garden (Arashi takes every time with you as a date, because spending time with you is always special to her)

As I said before, she would give you a lot of kisses and hugs. Her favorite type is to give you kisses on your cheeks while hugging you and telling you that you are the most beautiful thing in the world.

In public she is very careful not to be that obvious, she doesn't kiss you in public but she does hug you (also she loves grabbing your hand) to the eyes of the public both of you are best friends (this only makes things easier when you go out on dates)

Are you feeling down? Arashi to the rescue! She will give more hugs and kisses when you feel a little depressed, she will make time to be with you when you need it.

"Honey, do you wanna talk about that? If you don't wanna, I could just kiss you until you feel better, but I want you to know that I'm here for you"

She would interact so much when both of you are on stage, hugging you when she sees you get on stage, saying things like you look so cute in that outfit, etc.

"You look stunning, (your name)” " Thank you Ara-nee! You look prettier than I tonight, true to be told." "You are so adorable," she said while hugging you.

Both of you have matching things together, like phone cases, and clothes but Arashi's favorite is a pretty necklace that she gifts you on your first anniversary!

How rumors start

The truth to be told, I don't think that both of you had dating rumors, this is because her fans know she is an extrovert and treat all her friends the best (but I think her fans ship you with her). Arashi did her best not to be that obvious (this is because she doesn't want you to have a rough time handling those scandals).

This only makes you wanna know how far both can get given hints that you are in a relationship.

You would openly say that you and she had matching things, even show them in Live.

You start the suspicious looks on your fans when both of your vacation together, going on dates of more than usual.

One day a fan saw both of you hugging so tight (In reality, you were kissing but they didn't notice) Arashi notice the stare of the fan and soon she start to approach them asking if they want an autograph ( the fan obviously said yes) and when was your turn to do the same, she told the fan that both of you are spending time together and you were happy about it. The fan said that they hoped that you had a nice vacation together and they left.

Later the fan posted on Twitter a photo of your autograph saying "they are so sweet!" (you were glad that they didn't notice the kiss and they didn't mention the "hug" ) this we're trending on Twitter.

How the fans know about your relationship.

It was until you decided to say it officially that the fans found out, and for this, they decided to do a Live together.

"We've been wanting to say this for a long time, we're dating," you said, after that, your sight relieved "It feels good not to hide anything, but above all, not to hide what I feel for you," Arashi said, putting her head on your shoulder, trying to comfort you.

The comments in the Live were “FINALLY” and “Let's all pretend that we don't know it” and “THEY ARE CANON” after saying it, both continue talking about other topics, the different part is that you know you can hug in front of the cameras.

After the Live, Arashi and you talked in your room about what happened.

"Love, you look a little sad, why?” she approached you "We finally said that we are in love, you don't have a reason to be sad now" she made it clear by holding to you so tightly that she wasn't letting go any time soon.

"I'm sorry for hiding us” you murmur hiding your face in her shoulder.

She moves your face with her hand, you could feel a kiss on your lips as she moved back. you didn't say anything more, Arashi looked at you.

"Don't worry about that, Honey, I was a little scared too, we take our time." She said caressing your cheek.

"Besides, I'm willing to wait for you an eternity, my love." she added giving you her beautiful smile.

You love her so much, being by her side is all you need.

Ooo interesting, being a doll that Shu made, spoiled, and then one day coming to life? I imagine he may be too shocked at first, making you clothes he always wanted to see you in, and now it's even better because you can tell him much your truly appreciate him

Except he soon realizes your actually quite dumb, you of course knew you used to be his doll and belong to him but you can only vaguely recall your time spent with him. He wouldn't immediately pounce on you, wanting to plan out a time, after he is not one to just give up on things he had planned

When he can finally have you he's too overwhelmed, wanting to try too many stuff with you for just the first time. He'd start out by tasting you, wanting to know if you would be just as sweet as he'd imagined. If it’s not much to ask, could you do headcanons or whatever you want about either Eren and/or Mikasa being a wingman for Armin?🤣 I was quite inspired by your take on him having a crush on MC and everyone supporting him. And I just thought Eren would be bold enough to casually ask MC what do they think/like about Armin, something like:

"What about this one?" Eren asked, pulling out a grey tank top from the clothing rack.

"Eren!" You scolded, "You're his best friend, you should know that Armin hates grey! And he despises tank tops, well... he despises anything that shows his arms..." You sighed, "Which is a pity, he has such toned arms."

"Oh?" Eren hummed, his face giving no hint to his inner smirk.

He pulled out his phone while you continued searching the clothes racks.

Eren : armin y/n said u have toned arms

Armin : haha no she didn't

Armin : ...

Armin : WAIT SHE REALLY SAID THAT?

While Armin had a a joyful meltdown over this in his bedroom, you showed Eren the outfit that you assembled.

"He looks incredible in shirts... and this blue is just like the blue of his favorite cardigan, don't you think!" You beamed excitedly.

Although Eren hates the word 'cute', at the time it was the only word he could ascribe to your affections for his best friend. Sometimes he's wanted to tell you how much he appreciates how happy you make Armin, but he's not one to be sentimental.

At your apartment

"I got him this, and this..." You beamed, showing off the outfit that you had bought for Armin.

"Oh, but does he like those colors?" Mika tested.

"Of course! He loves blue!" You shook your head, and then looked happily at the sweater.

"He's gonna look so good in this..." You swooned, "I'm a real sucker for the shirt-under-sweater look... it's so hot, I mean, especially on him. Don't you think it's a good look?"

"Eh, it's alright." Mika shrugged.

At the cafe

Eren and Mika met up at the cafe, the one that was above the bookstore that Armin worked at.

"There's no way Y/n said that I'm hot! You definitely misheard that..." Armin blushed, cupping a coffee cup with both hands.

He stared into the inky liquid.

"No, that's what they said almost verbatim." Mika reassured.

Eren chimed in, "And they like your arms, and said they were toned." he said, wiggling his one brow. It was a goofy looking thing for such a deadpan face to do.

"No way..." Armin smiled to himself. He got a little lost in happy thoughts, so just sat quietly staring into his coffee.

"So, okay, be honest, you two. Do you think I have a chance with Y/n?" He asked unsurely, "I don't want to mess up our friendship..."

"Yeah, obviously." Eren rolled his eyes annoyedly. They'd already gone over this so many times before, but Armin never really believed it until they put forth evidence like now.

"I've never seen someone be so attentive to likes and dislikes... Y/n likes you, Armin, don't doubt it any more, okay?" Mika said.

"Besides, if anything is awkward when you tell her how you feel, you can come right to us. We'll always be here." Eren added.

Armin's spirits rose to the sky, and he let out a cute groan.

"I love you guys. Thank you." He said.

At the birthday party

"Armin!" You said his name with dramatic emphasis, and he paid attention to you.

"Yes?" He asked with bright eyes.

"Listen, I know you hate birthday presents... but!" You raised a finger, "I have gotten you, arguably, the best presents... and you better like them... or else!"

He smiled dorkily, and rubbed the back of his neck as if he had no idea about this, "I don't actually mind gifts... if they're from you..." He mumbled.

You didn't quite catch that, unfortunately, because of the boom of music. You just shoved the present into his arms excitedly.

Armin blinked down at his gift; it was wrapped so nicely that he didn't even want to open it.

After the party

Armin had changed into the outfit you gifted him, and said a thousand thank yous.

When the time came to give goodbye hugs after the party, Armin leaned down and pecked your cheek instead of just giving you a hug.

"Thank you again..." He said, a bit shyly. He looked down at his shoes.

"Anything for my boy... you look good." You winked, feeling your cheeks warm up.

"... 'your boy'?" He tilted his head like a puppy. Though he tried battle his smirk down, he just couldn't.

"Sorry... I just like calling you my boy..." You looked down.

"I don't mind at all." He assured you, "I wanna be your boy."

You drew your gaze up to him. When your eyes met, you burst out into giggles. The shyest, the stupidest giggles.

"What are you two giggling about?" Eren asked, smirking while slinging two arms around you and Armin.

"Nothing..." Armin grinned, "Nothing."

P.s.When I read 'wingman' my brain immediately thought you meant like... Top Gun, so I fell off my bed squealing about Armin being Maverick.

Punch Out Characters (+ OC) as Just Dance Coaches and their respective song

Just Dance 2025 has released some of its brand-new songs on its YouTube channel and other social media platforms. The songs are great by the way so, why not take Punch Out characters and make them into Just Dance coaches?

Little Mac- We Are The Champions by Queen

Seeing Mac dressing up as Freddy Mercury while singing this song would be funny, but it reflects on his journey from an underdog to the champ.

Star Mika (My OC)- SMILEY by Yena (Feat. BIBI)

This song really kept me upbeat and I happen to like K-pop so, Mika would keep on dancing when listening to this song while wearing some Deco outfit or a colorful Lolita dress.

Glass Joe- La vie en rose by Edith Piaf

This song is actually one of my Tita's (aunt) favorites when she was still in high school and knowing Joe, he would simply try to mix his dance moves of pop ballad and contemporary dance. I would love to see him in a very slick tuxedo or something fancy but flexible.

Von Kaiser- Part of Me by Katy Perry

Ok, I know what you are thinking since this song has already been taken but what if the coach was male, and since the original music video of this song was taken place in the military so why not? Von Kaiser would fit into this very well, he would have the same dance moves as the original Part of Me coach but a little different.

Disco Kid- Let's Groove by Earth, Wind, Fire

I have heard of this song and yes, I have seen the 2016 Just Dance version of this but what if it was a solo coach instead? Enter Disco Kid, he would be in a really funky 70s disco suit because, of course, he's all about disco! I would have picked other songs from the funky 70s but this one really sticks to me.

King Hippo- Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride from Disney's Lilo and Stitch

This song brings back childhood memories when I first saw Lilo and Stitch and hearing this song feels very relaxing and upbeat. Hippo would really like to dance to this song, making cute hula moves while also adding a touch of that relaxing upbeat rhythm.

Piston Hondo- Pokemon Theme Song

Now this song is really cool since it can be heard in both English and Japanese. Hondo would do well in this song while also dressing up as Ash Ketchum and being accompanied by Pikachu in the dance.

Bear Hugger- Timber by Pitbull (ft. Ke$ha)

Another song is taken, yes I know but what if this one is a trio and it would be in this awesome claymation style. Seeing Bear Hugger dancing while being accompanied by Mr. Bear and his squirrel friend would be so cute and cool.

Great Tiger- Friend Like Me from Disney's Aladdin

We already had Prince Ali from JD 2014 and and A Whole New World from JD 2024 so why not this song? It would be so cool to see Great Tiger dressing up as the live-action Genie from the live-action movie Aladdin, his clones would also add flare to the dance

Don Flamenco- Livin La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin

Picture this, a song from JD 4 would be perfect for Don but make it duet and extreme with him and Carmen in an amazing flamenco/tango style dance. There would also be a 2nd version of this but it's normal and he is trying to seduce Mika in this.

Aran Ryan- The Spark Irish by Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew

Yes, I have seen the TikToks on this song and it would be a perfect summer song for Aran. He would go wild for this song while doing his famous Irish jig in this and yes, this one would also have an extreme version of it.

Soda Popinski- Moscow Moscow by Dschinghis Khan and Jay Khan

I only have heard of this song from a video for a MMD Hetalia meme but this would be such a funny song to have. I know that Rasputin is the more popular song on JD but having another Russian song like this would be so cool and hilarious at the same time.

Bald Bull- Centuries by Fall Out Boy

JD 2023 released one Fall Out Boy song but what if there is another one, enter Centuries. This one would be themed after Ancient Greece with Bald Bull as coach. He would have this gladiator minotaur costume and sick dance moves.

Super Macho Man- Footloose by Kenny Loggins

One of the most iconic from both the past and today. SMM would be so cool to see in the 50s setting with a crowd cheering for him.

Mr. Sandman- Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Eurythmics

The song for Night Swan's origins in JD 2022 is perfect for Mr. Sandman. This one would be the male version and it would be in a dream-like setting with flashing lights, sleeping sheep, and bright stars. And it would be so cool for Sandman to wear an outfit to match the setting.

2024.02.16-17 sukekiyo at Kyoto Gekijo

I really wanted to write about each show separately but then the 17th was filled with too many exciting things and there was no time. So I'll try about them together. And because of the setlists it also feels like they both belong together anyway.

2.16 The first day flow felt like the young idol started bright and excited, innocent, but then fell, experiencing the dirty side of love and people, but wanted to find love somehow anyway. And it finished with 呼吸・kokyuu...

As the BGM they are playing another movie (sound only).

5 minutes to and then at 6:30 the theatre buzzer sounded to signal the start of the show.

They had the usual see through screen in front of the stage (always done for the seated shows). sukekiyo and the tour name appeared as the snow was softly falling in the dark. At the same time band members walked on the stage, Takumi first, followed by Yuchi and Mika, then utA and Kyo last.

And Takumi started the piano melody of Margaret. It's so nice that they again chose to start with the last song from the previous tour, like they're creating a connection between then and now.

The stage was mostly their normal setting, but Kyo's stand had a dark bouquet laying in the middle of the table, I'm pretty sure it was the one with the doll in it that he shared in his Instagram story. There was also a high chair on the right side of his stand, right next to it.

And a new addition were big light bulbs hanging on wires over the stage, one over each band member hanging lower and four more a bit higher, nine in total. When グロス・Gloss started they lit up but dimmed when song got quieter.

During 愛した心臓・Aishita shinzo Kyo was dancing, he also came close the screen stretching his arm towards audience. (but I'm always unsure how much they can see from the other side because of how the light works on the screen), he crouched when dancing. Kyo was very dancey, utA as well (I was sitting on utA's side that night, aisle seat though).

They all wore outfits from their last artist photos. utA's hair was more standing, full 90s visual kei style. Kyo changed his look having a very different hairstyle. Because he shaved his head to get a new tattoo in January his hair is still very short, like in Citta he glued things on though, for sukekiyo he had two thin pink braids, one on each side, styled in a way they created two rings. And he had the porcelain doll effect make up, shiny face with drawn eyebrows, dark eye make up and full lips. The back of his dress is quite open so we could see his tattooed back. And he wore pink tabi boots to complete the look. (you can check those tweets 1️⃣ 2️⃣ to see fans drawings of him, just pls don't repost)

Both Candis and Valentina were quite fun with the pen lights. And this part had a lot of dancey songs that even come with set dance moves... But since it was a seated show it was only Kyo dancing, with other band members rocking and jumping as well, fans had to endure and stay in their seats😂

With 口に林檎・kuchi ni ringo the stage went darker and Kyo was lit up by his mic stand's pink light. aftermath followed with the soft dark mood in the venue and the video on the screen. Some of the autumn temple has been edited and changed to pink cherry blossoms with petals scattering. Kyo sang standing by his mic stand, illuminated in pink.

And after the song ended Takumi played the piano melody that starts the session. Kyo softly walked towards the chair and sat with one leg over the other, very dignified, like a film noir singer or a diva. A black clothed staff member walked on the stage from the left side holding a make up case and started to 'do' Kyo's make up. He patted Kyo's face with a towel, he then used a sponge and a brush, then 'did' Kyo's lips. I don't think he actually changed anything but it was a part of the performance. Kyo stayed seated almost motionless through the whole process.

Then Kyo softly got up and walked to his mic stand, the session continued as Kyo joined singing. The cheerful idol from the start of the concert was gone by now, the innocence lost. The want, the hurt, the darker feelings took place to create someone new.

訪問者X・HomonshaX had Kyo dancing like a bug, very different from the way he danced as a cute idol.

It felt to me that the lights towards the end of the performance were changing between red - fiery, angry and strong - and blue - calmer and sadder, to me it felt like there was a battle of various emotions inside of our heroine. I aways have a ton of respect for Mika who is creating the visualisations for the shows. Like during 変わってくれませんでしょうか・kawattekuremasendeshouka? when the front screen is very simple and the sides are dark with water falling over Kyo in the middle as the rain is supposed to wash everything away.

During 夢見ドロ・Yumemidoro Kyo was dancing more seductively, even wrapped his leg around the mic stand, baring it to the people. During Scarlet Kyo was pointing his lips with his index finger, 'I want you to kiss me'. Even broken things want to find love.

And at the end the acceptance came and resignation. Ending with 呼吸・kokyu had many people crying, if they were not crying by then anyway.

At the end Kyo slowly turned and left the stage. The end credits started on the screen, the audience was clapping as the rest of the band members slowly left as well. But many people kept crying even then (yours truly included).

But we did get the Gion Matsuri tour announced! 4 days at Kyoto MUSE! I wonder how many people will manage to hit all tickets on one account... I'll try😂

One more thing that was different was Kyo's stand, on the second day there were no flowers there. So I guess it was a present for his birthday?

The setlist flow was was different on this day. They started with 訪問者X・homonshaX and Kyo's bug dance. He was also pointing at the audience as he sang.

During グロス・Gloss the light bulbs lit up again. There was one moment when Kyo made a movement raising his arms like he wanted to catch his light bulp between his hands.

The video for The Hole had a mix of colours and Kyo was dancing. He definitely had more of a seductress in his movements on the second night. He stretched one arm and moved the other with the music and switched them. The idol songs following felt quite different because of the way they started the set and the mood.

After aftermath the staff came again to 'do' Kyo's make up and it was followed up with a session. At the end the stage was quite dark with a simple spotlight on Kyo.

With 論外な生き物として・rongaina ikimono toshite I love how the song switches from soft to heavy, from Kyo carresing the mic stand softly to him headbanging.

And the hair set he had made it kinda interesting for headbanging 😆 he had thin pink braids glued to his hair again, this time the loops were shorter so the end of the brace was behind the loops. So they bounced when Kyo moved. He wore a cropped black top with puffy sleeves and strands of pearls over it. Flowy pleated black skirt and again pink tabi boots. Make up was very similar to the first night. (fan's drawing)

The rest of the band members had different outfits too. utA again had a very classic v-kei outfit, this time his hair was styled to the right side. Takumi had a long white collar outfit. Mika I couldn't see, from my seat Mika was obstructed by Kyo's iPad stand 😅 Yuchi had a sleeveless Nike top with long gloves, he changed his hair style too to add more braids.

I can't play any instruments and I don't have especially trained ears, but I'm always impressed with the sound quality at sukekiyo shows as well. I can cearly hear all instruments and they create this amazing harmony together. And I also enjoy the fact that band members use different instruments for some songs (like aftermath). I could hear the wonderful bass promised by Yuchi, Mika's powerful drums, utA's guitar, especially during solos, Takumi's piano and guitars. And Kyo's voice. 🖤

For ただ、まだ、私。・tada, mada, watashi. there was no visualisation on the screen, so it looked like there was no screen besides a bit of a smoke by the floor. There was light coming from the back of the stage and very lightly the band members silhouettes appeared above the stage. And because of this the stage appeared to be very deep.

I liked the flow of the last part of the setlist, it didn't feel as gut wrenching as the first night.

The end credits started aready during Margaret and Kyo calmly left as soon as the song ended. The rest of the band followed as fans started to give applause.

I'm so curious what we will see in Tokyo. Only one more performance left.
